You don’t need to be a therapist to help someone feel less alone.
If you're someone who cares deeply and knows how to listen, you already have what it takes to make a difference.
At VentNow, we’ll give you the tools and support to do just that with presence, empathy, and purpose.
As a VentNow Listener, you’ll be there for people when they need someone most in moments of anxiety, loneliness, burnout, or overwhelm.
You’ll learn how to hold space with compassion, offer non-clinical emotional support, and remind others they’re not alone in what they’re feeling.
What it means to be a Listener
Becoming a Listener means showing up for others in moments that matter. You'll provide real-time emotional support through one-on-one conversations as people search for someone to talk to about anxiety, stress, grief, or simply a hard day.

You are not expected to give advice or solutions. Your role is to offer connection through deep, judgment-free listening supported by our structured emotional support training designed by professionals in mental health and coaching.
Why People Choose to Become VentNow Listeners
VentNow Listeners come from all walks of life: students, caregivers, life coaches, professionals, and people simply passionate about emotional well-being. What they all share is a deep sense of empathy and a desire to help others feel less alone.

Before you begin, you’ll complete our core training in active listening, emotional safety, and non-clinical mental health support.

As a Listener, you’ll gain:
